Well, after the burning bedroom escapade, Jane is worried about what she will say to Mr. Rochester. (You know she's afraid it's going to be awkward.) Anyway, she doesn't hear from him the day after the fire. But she casts it off as he just has work to do. But later she finds out from Mrs. Fairfax that he is traveling! So she doesn't hear from him for 2 weeks. And during this time, she convinces herself that she is in love with him. And also, that he must be in love with her, from the way he has been looking at her recently. But, later he shows up with like 14 of his friends to stay at Thornfield for a while. And one of these people is a Blanche Ingrum. Apparently Mr. Rochester is trying to win her heart, even though he's over 20 years older than her. So Jane tries to deal with her disappointment and move on. She also tells herself that why would Mr. Rochester, a man of wealth and integrity, fall in love with an orphan and a governess? So yeah.
That's about where I am in the book, nothing terribly exciting has happend except the fire in the bedroom. So yeah. Also don't forget about movie night on March 6th! Rebecca Cobb is being a very wonderful person and bringing the movie! I love you Rebecca! Anyway. So I hope you all can come. OH! Also if you need directions to my house call me at 541-6460.
